Season 1- Chapter 1: Trouble Brewing- Part: 1

General Summary

The group of Captain Imzur Delt, Vek Ordo, Rurt'oguomy'auwarn (A.k.a. Mya), and Zoreal Oros had arrived on the arid desert planet: Formos, from a long and arduous journey in Hyperspace. The old, yet freshly painted Blue Raven made a expedient landing upon the duracrete landing dock. The boarding ramp lowered, the heat was unbearable, although nobody but Imzur had mentioned how horrid it was in a sly comment to the BoSS agent requesting payment for safe docking.

The group was mostly stoic, and desired only to find their mark, an Aquilash by the name of Bandin Dobah. Dobah has a handsome bounty on his head by the Galactic Empire for 10,000 Credits, should he be brought in alive and to the prison planet of Kessel. While not everyone is in it for the credits, everyone is interested in Dobah. The armor clad member of the Ordo clan, Vek, immediately went to work, feeling right at home doing this kind of business, he tracks down a friendly face willing to tell him that everything he would like to know could *probably* be answered by a Devaronian Information Broker named Snoo, who frequents the Rii Jenks Cantina on the other end of town, Imzur himself had just recieved a transmission from his benefactor to bring Dobah in for a reward of 5,000 credits and a unique opportunity. Before the group goes to Rii Jenks', Imzur spots a droid in white, with bright red markings on his chest.   Imzur immediately recognizes the droid as a Crimson Dawn droid based on the markings, Zoreal also recognizes that the droid is an old Seperatist model: the BX Commando series of droid used in the Clone Wars. The group of rag-tag bounty hunters immediately dismiss the droid before he introduces himself as B133p, and that he has no desire to return to his overlords in the Crimson Dawn. He merely wants to leave the planet as soon as possible. With that, the group leaves the Dock and heads straight for Rii Jenks' Cantina, south of the Imperial Barracks.   The group sees many things along the way to the Cantina, including: water merchants, shady dealings, and people seemingly watching their every move. As the group gets closer to the cantina, the natural architecture turns into a ghetto of tents. They begin to get restless, having a loud conversation about the Aquilash. As they do so, more and more individuals seem to stare at them, before they take the hint and rush towards the Cantina.

Just before they reached the front entrance of Rii Jenks' Cantina, the group of adventurers came across a low, disrupted voice crying for help. Mya and B133p both came to the aid of the being, who was none other than a protocol droid who had been tortured and mutilated, while B133p did attempt to help, and scrap the droid, the protocol droid's dying wish was simple: Save his friend; R4-W9, an astromech droid who was taken by several men. With his last words trailing off into the cacophony of crowded voices, the two returned to the group who had just reached the entrance of the Cantina.

Being relieved that the Cantina had good music and air conditioning, the group of bounty hunters immediately drew their weapons and began clearing the Cantina, making everyone on edge. That's when the Devaronian known as Snoo immediately filled them in to relax, not ask too many questions (unless it was to him of course) and to have a drink. B133p immediately begins asking Snoo questions before being told that the bearded Devaronian does not answer questions for droids. The Crimson Dawn-branded droid began introducing himself to the patrons of the Cantina, and was met with terrified or standard introductions, until he met the owner of the bar, an older woman, with an aged voice named Rii Jenks. When probed, she told him to quit asking questions. He ignored her.

Meanwhile, Zoreal had ordered drinks for all of the organic members of the table, those who didnt drink, had their drinks rebuked by the Zabrak in robes, but ultimately Imzur, and Snoo joined him, and thanked him graciously before conducting business: Zoreal asked the Devaronian just where to find Bandin Dobah. The truth, however, was that not even Snoo knew where Bandin was, but he knew how his gang operated. He had formed many smaller cells that would make money off of his own Glitterstim trade, but Bandin no longer lived in the Formos Spaceport. One man had attempted to bring in Bandin Dobah: a Rodian named Gadon Netakka.   Having noticed that a Rodian had followed the group some time ago, Vek and Mya both rushed out of the booth housing the group before being stopped by a Rodian woman, who sought emotional support from Mya. After asking for help, three men; two humans and a weequay entered the Cantina, the atmosphere in the room immediately changed as a finely dressed man approached the Mandalorian and Chiss. However, after being talked to, the dapper man lost his nerve, and left the Cantina with his gang before a Toyadarian followed them out.

The Rodian woman revealed her name was Zukta, and she was writing an atlas for Rodian Bounty Hunters. She had even heard of the Bounty Hunter, Gadon, and was interested in his wellbeing, although she swore it was nothing personal. Just professional courtesy, and on that note, theorized that he may be padding Bandin Dobah for maximum payout from the Empire. With that, Mya and Vek left. Only to see the tusk-filled smile of a Toyadarian before he flutters off to a meet-up spot. Without saying a word to the others, they stalked the Toyadarian, who lead the duo to an old warehouse.   Meanwhile, Zoreal and Imzur are enjoying drinks with Snoo, not much is said between the three, just enjoyment of the music, and the company after weeks in hyperlanes, and nearly an hour out in the blistering dryness of Formos. B133p has taken it upon himself to attempt to liberate Rii Jenks' very own protocol droid by turning its own logic in on itself to no avail. Once Rii Jenks learns of this, she tells Imzur, Zoreal and B133p to leave for now, they may be welcome later if she's in a good mood.

B133p finds a Smuggler and immediately changes his mind on talking to the smuggler before suggesting the group return to the ship. Imzur agrees, and the threesome return to the docks. B133p meets a recipient at the Docks, and attempts to chat her up about the location of Bandin Dobah's ship, but to no avail. Imzur attempts and learns that Bandin does not use BoSS landing services. At a loss, the group returns to the Blue Raven.   Mya has been eavesdropping, learning that one of the men in the Cantina: a human named Daro Blunt was preparing a hit on the group for intimidating their boy, the finely dressed human: Spir, but once the Toyadarian had confirmed that they were discussing Bandin Dobah on the streets, Daro decided that these newcomers have to be dealt with. Daro pays the Toyadarian, and the Toyadarian leaves with his prize. Daro orders the assembly of an E-WEB. Vek and Mya infiltrate the compound, nearly getting spotted, but by using a large object, Vek is able to create a loud noise, and some light damage to a crate, distracting the gang.

Vek dismantles the E-WEB, while Mya slices into a terminal that is paired with a restrained astromech droid, and learns that the Glitterstim is being shipped offworld somewhere, then proceeds to also help dismantle the E-WEB blaster emplacement. That's when Mya hatches a plan to deceive Daro Blunt by appealing to his womanizing side, and pretending she was lost. Daro falls for it and explains that while he cannot tell her much, the streets of Formos are dangerous, so much so that Bandin Dobah himself doesn't live on Formos anymore, but a nearby asteroid. They go outside for some privacy when a malfunctioning distress beacon is sent to the Blue Raven from what can only be assumed is Mya and Vek. The group of B133p, Imzur and Zoreal rush from the ship straight to the site of the beacon.

It is at this time, that the man in metal, the Mandalorian trips over a cable while sneaking around the warehouse. While flat on his face, he kips up, just in time to see five men surround him from all flanks. Fearlessly, the man from Clan Ordo opens fire on the group, stunning most almost instantly, all the while taking some fire himself, he slides into cover. Meanwhile, Mya has kept Daro distracted enough that when he does draw his blasters, he is completely confused. He sees Vek and aims, before taking a fusion cutter to the back, and dodging. The leader of the gang reels back getting blasted in the back from Mya, and Zoreal. Eventually, the armored gang leader hobbled forward, then collapsed. The remaining thugs for Daro dropped their weapons and surrendered. Willingly locking themselves up in with the dismantled E-WEB.

The group takes what they want from the now defeated gangsters, before B133p raises his blasters to fire upon the prisoners. Everyone objects. The psychopathic droid then turns his attention to the astromech paired with the terminal in the corner of the warehouse...
