Session 20: Time for a chase! Report

Highlights

• Searched and found a warforged bar, The Cog Carnival, in the lower wards of Sharn. It's bar filled with warforged, and a lot of them are hurt, missing limbs. They played a game and began making some friends. When after asking to see Coal, they notice the patrons of the bar are very protective of each other but after talking they are pointed towards Coal. They met up with a one-armed black-skinned warforged.
• Coal tells the party that she has heard that a child of the house Orion has been kidnapped, and doesn't know much of House Vadalis and doesn't see a connection. Coal had a friend, Razor, who got for a new job that was more dangerous than advertised. The job was in Old Sharn, and Razor was trying to get enough money to get Coal a new arm so she could work as well. Before this could happen though Razor died on her new job. Razor was working for House Orion.. and while talking with Coal the door breaks open and Coal gets attacked with a firebolt. Coal panics and jumps out the window, running for her life. A chase ensues!
• Running and fighting along, a couple of creatures dies while they run after each other (and each side gets exhausted, running is hard!). Sadly it is too late for Coal, as when the party arrives in the alley she ran into she is dead with a human standing above her. Due too a smart spell and a net they catch this last human, that is stil alive, and charm the pants of him to get some information. 
• The human tells that they were ordered to kill Coal by their boss Nadra. He doesn't know where Nadra is as they got the assignment via letter. He knows that the orders come from House Tarkanan and that Thora is the head of that House. After telling the information the party kills him.
• They cast a talk to the dead spell on Coal and get this information: She thinks she had to die because Razor told Coal she got the job by Aiden Orion but Nadra was the one pulling the strings. This was information she wasn't supposded to know. Her relationship to Germaine was that Germaine works for the Sharn Watch and she trusts her. Coal doesn't know Gondrax or the Spheres of Dragonkind. 
• They go home and take a long-deserved rest (the snores are endless).

Maggie onderzoekt de moordenaar en vindt een Shortsword, een munt met een veer erop, een Pouch met 19 koper en 2 zilver, en een Dragon Chess Set.   Op Coals lichaam vindt Ghanok een Pouch met 75 koper en 20 zilver, een Healers Kit en een klein tasje met Ball Bearings (150 stuks).
