Session 21: Ghanok bought a house!

Highlights

• Ghanok found some notes in the house they are staying in. These notes are between Nadra and a loved one and some notes between Dalin and Nadra. He uses the sending stone to ask Dalin for more information and Dalin tells Nadra is human, 40 years, black hair and part of House Vadalis. He asks to keep him informed.
• They decide to sell some things. They arrive at Sundry's Shop, owned by a dark-skinned gnome called Sundry. Ghanok sells his silver bird skull, foldable hat and boneset dice. He trades for a pierced dragon scale and 5 sp. While walking they see a Questboard and find a note where they are searching for a person matching Ghondrax, but with a different name. They take the note. 
• Maggie starts a search of information about the silver flame and while finding a shrine she realises her heart isn't in this search right now. She decides to find out more information about Faerie, her parents and why there is a war between the two clans. Ghanok helps and finds a childrens book talking about Faerie, talking about the beautifull and dark sides of Faerie in very simple ways. 
• Ghanok asks Maggie to help translate the spellbook they found, but after talking they decide to do this later in the week. They decide to go to a weapon shop. They find the Guarding Tusk, a shop in the lower wards. In the lower wards are more creatures that are home to Droaam; orc's, ogre's, goblins etc. The war is palpable and those creatures are met with nasty sneers and graffity on the walls. The Guarding Tusk is run by an Orc with gray hair and goatee. Ghanok sells his Nukathnav for 200 pp and buys a Blood Spear. Maggie buys a couple of Seeker darts. 
• After buying new weapons they return to the quest board and find a job about a haunted house, by realestate agency SurrealEstate. They meet up with Roman, a human dressed neatly. The building is nice and clean, in dark red and purple. Roman tells them they are searching for people who can clean out ghost or ghost-like creatures in a house. After a conversation in which Ghanok informed about how much the house was bought for, he buys the property off the hands of a confused but satisfied Roman.  
• Ghanok is OVER THE MOON with his new house, but Maggie isn't that impressed. She sees the house and sees it is broken in all sort of places. When they go inside a couple of glowing balls float towards them and after waiting to see what happens Ghanok gets attacked. Maggie recognises the balls as will-o'-wisps. Shortly after they begin fighting Maggie tries to freeze the balls in place with her wild magic, which succeeds but her magic transforms her into a raven for multiple rounds.
• After fighting the balls off they hear a cry coming from above. Before they go further they really need a second and take a short rest. Fighting ghosts isn't as easy as it might seem!
