General Summary
The group began leading fifty civilians and six drugged-out fennecs to Woodpine , a 30-mile trip. They briefly stopped in the forest area to catch their breath and eat some food. While the hatchling and Vera hunted for the group, goblins attacked the camp and managed to kill two of the civilians. As the fight happened, Tarius stabbed a bugbear in the cheek with a knife, while Devus fanned two bullets into his chest. The goblins tried to retaliate by stabbing Tarius, but Devus was quick enough to shoot both goblins before his brother could mind control one of them. Meanwhile, Sakrisk brought two goblins down with his rifle while perched in a tree. Lakaar charged to protect the civilians and while he managed to kill several goblins, he was shot in the side, nearly putting his body into shock. Vera and the hatchling returned just in time to help district some of the remaining goblins, so the group could finish them off.
As the combat ended, Tarius acknowledged the potential danger created from the sounds of gunshots, which he promptly warned the group about. They made the smart decision to continue forward until they could find shelter, which happened to be a small cave. In the morning, they finished their trip to Woodpine in the rain, and upon arrival, the fennecs departed their separate ways. This gives the group a chance to rest and heal their wounds, but Lakaar learned that Kolros is Woodpine's guard captain.
