Session 27: The Dive into the Underdark Report

General Summary

Havoc Squad decides to travel into the Underdark in order to establish friendly ties to the denizens of the Underdark.    They go through the Eerie Forest and head for the Forward outpost in the entrance of the upper Dark. After some minor exploration they head down a river that goes down deeper into the system. They later found out the nearby beach had ambush creatures and that the area they were in is radiated with some type magical energy. Because of this, The Chronolometer and Dimensional Loop attached to Seth's waist acted up and sent them deeper into the Underdark.    The Section they teleported in was the Rotten Plane that bled over to the Material Plane. After a bit of exploration they found a campsite and what used to be a living community. After casting Snyde's Deplorable Mansion; The journal they discover reveals that a portal was nearby and a creature was guarding it. Their rest was cut short as a Beholder manage to look at Snyde through the door, dispelling his Mansion. A short fight ensues with Ace finishing off the Beholder with his new sword Moonlight. Seth lost his hand in the process and Snyde made a temporary prosthetic. They investigate the portal and it appears to be a black hole. They tied rope to each other before jumping in.
