Session 26: Devil is in the Details Report

General Summary

Back in Archeboron in the Mhusia Empire, the rest of Havoc Squad prepare to leave to Lighthaven with their Legionaire allies. Meanwhile, Prince discovers and explore his new found warlock powers with the help of the horn frog who is the lip man of their patron Moloch. He receives a hybrid weapon; A crossbow with a Handaxe ukelele. In return Moloch gives him a task to kill another devil worshipper by the name of Nacluv Boreal.   In transit, Prince reveals his objective and nature to the team, receiving different reactions. Seth and Snyde have different information on his target in that he is a famous Ezk Engineer who developed Steam Armoured Units that repel the Raiders many years ago. After much discussion they agree to help Prince with his personal quest.   Using the Aruka, The Squad stops by the crash site of the De Rolo to pay their respects to the fallen. Snyde marks down the location of the dead adult dragon that the party defeated in their earlier travels. They scavenge whats left of the supplies of the ship and Prince nearly gave in the urge to shoot Snyde as he looks through the cargo bay.   They travel to Ayyun where Boreal's headquarter is and split up with Snyde checking Boreal's house and the rest heading for the Engineering Stacks. Snyde discovers that Boreal's house is magically protected and manages to only get to the second floor before his Arcane Eye repels.   The rest head for the Engineering Stack and intimidate the Steam Guard into letting them in. The Squad meets Boreal and his engineer but due to miscommunication and paranoia from Boreal's part, they get into a short fight with the Engineer and his body guards. Ace gets banished to the first layer of hell - landing in a fight between two different devil armies and Snyde manages to turn the tide thanks to his familiar Mr.Owl. As Ace comes back from the Avernus with the severe head of an Abishai; he grabs a weaken Boreal and lets Prince finishes him off with Vicious Mockery, burning body in shame.   He then uses his Mantle of Whispers to steal Boreal's soul; discovering the location of his wealth, schematics and knowledge on how to build Steam Armoured Units, and stages a minor accident, paying for all the teams expenses and giving all the workers a raise.   In the next two months, the team slowly take over Boreal's Business; sending old stocks of Steam Armoured Units to Lighthaven, creating a Teleportation Line to Lighthaven using Snyde's knowledge of World Tree  Ley Line which creates an economic boom in Lighthaven.   They convince the Sky Rangers to build a Sky Ranger Academy in order to bolster their numbers. Seth builds his own shipyard and lives his dream to retire for the rest of his life with his family. Prince runs the Boreal-Haven Joint Venture Corporation and runs the Engineering Division in Darkhaven. Kayla and Dojo open the McDojo, a fast food franchise. Snyde creates a Simulacrum called Snyde 2.0 and hand over September's Staff of Necromancy heading him as head of the Research Department. Ace receives Moonlight, a sword made from the Elder Dragon Parts and gifts Prince with the Pick of Dalamdur. they open up diplomacy to neighbouring countries finally establishing Lighthaven as a country within the Protectorate of Cherezhia.   In the early month of September, Ace puts his plan into motion. With Prince's help, he manages to meet with General Honda and convinces him to defect to Lighthaven with the 212th Attack Battalion. At the same time, Seth and Snyde along with the Hammer Company Spectres break out Grace out of Gartok Prison in Nyior, suffering only one wounded which Snyde stabilises with Life Transference.    Ace returns to Lighthaven, witnessing the marvels of him and his friends accomplishments in the last couple of weeks. As the Cobra gunship makes landing on the Skyport, Grace takes in the city for the first time in awe. When she meets Ace for the first time in months, instead of surprise, she jokes of his hair before embracing him, telling him how much he missed him. Ace pats her head and expresses the same as Seth place his hand on his shoulder and welcomes her to her new home.
