Session 29: The War Summit Report

General Summary

The Council sends out word to the Barons of Oberland to gather for a War Summit. Grey Shadow has been sent to secure a neutral location for the Summit to take place and selected an abandoned temple to the north.    Before the party heads out, Kayla speaks with Snyde on recent events and after some consideration, ask Snyde if she could say good bye to her Family properly. The Storm Lord, who was listening in, grants Snyde a one time powerful use of Speak with Dead. Casting it, the Gnome and halfling are in a demiplane on the edge of the Divine Gate where a small portion of Vidno was recreated. her husband Stefan and her two kids Arwan and Kasfeer, greet her warmly. Both wife and husband apologise for not being able to protect each other. Stefan tells Kayla that he and the kids will be waiting for her and wish her fortune in her future battles. Snyde, hidden under a tree not far away; cries both in joy and sadness at the scene. The Storm Lord who stood next to him, shares a story of how he use to be friends with the first Necromancer
