Session 14: Who is this Voidheart Report

General Summary

The party starts to attack Voidheart who returns the attacks; shouting phrases such as "Your blood will feed the Many" and "I shall rip you limb from limb". During the fight the party notices that there are seven gems seemingly floating in Voidheart's body. One of them is glowing red and after several attacks the gem is destroyed, ending the strange persona that has taken over Voidheart. The person that the party rescued from the Umizu, Sevron Arzellon, introduces himself and tells them that he was seeking Garuman. This was due to the fact that for the last few months Garuman has gone around making a name for himself (Although his memory is affected by the halfling leaf).   Then, the discussion of what to do with Voidheart takes place, and several ideas are thrown out. Ultimately the party realizes that they have stumbled into something greater than themselves and that Voidheart seems to be at the center of it. One option is to lock him away but that seems like it could be dangerous for them. What ever seems to be working in the world wants Voidheart and the seals contained within him. Mika descends down into the hole on the beach and is disturbed by what she experiences. A voice echoed out around her saying "The Many are Coming, One Seal is Broken, the Many are Coming".   During the night, Mika dreams of a meteor storm going on over her as she is on watch. Suddenly the stars seem to take the shape of claws in the night sky and fall all around her. Sand and Star Dust swirl around her as she wakes up.  

23rd day of the Orange Moon

  The Party travels, following the river, and while this happens Garuman spots a displacer beast trailing them. He manages to scare it off with a well placed Firebolt.  

24th day of the Orange Moon

  While Shei is out scouting ahead he finds a small encampment of tents, simple tents with a group of people milling around them. They do not appear to be merchants but as he approaches he discovers that they are Druids. He speaks with Astrid of the Greenbreeze Clan. She tells him of their troubles, how once they were friendly and allied with the local Woods Spirit but something happen... the Woods began to shut them out and even fled from them. They followed it to its current location but have not been able to go into the woods or meet with the Spirit.   Tak, Garuman, and Mika all approach the woods from nearby the river. During this Mika is grabbed by vines that have begun to wrap themselves around the trees. She tries to escape but she gets pulled further and further in. Fortunately her allies are able to saver her before she is dragged all the way into the woods.   Shei is brought to the tent of the Elder where he finds an old man in a v-cut robe, a blackened seed has embedded itself into his chest and there are dark tendrils snaking out of it under his skin.
