Session 31: Are we finally going to get some downtime?

General Summary

After the satyr creatures disappear, Shei and Tak talk about the event and it is discussed that the dagger that was taken was the one that had the duke's soul imprisoned in it. Garuman uses Marouk to begin tracking the Spirits but it is discovered that they seem to have teleported away. After returning to the castle, the wizard begins to investigate the bodies. He finds strange scars on them as if the cloven hooves, twisted horns were surgically grafted onto the creatures; they may have once been elves. He knows scars such as these could be found on Halflings, which some have theorized were augmented humans. The halflings he met in Meadowside has the same foul feeling around their scars.

During the night Garuman uses FLame of the Future to see an image in the smoke of the flames. He sees what he assumes to be the three of them around a campfire. They jump up and draw their weapons as they see a large shape emerge from the woods. Based on the moon that he saw in the vision, Garuman figures that the event will occur around the 5th day of the Red Moon.

2nd day of the Red Moon

Garuman start the day off by going to Larrador's tower that is located on the plateau. They meet the wizard there and find out his divinations revealed nothing about the spirits and the dagger is now being obscured and protected. He spoke with the leader of his order, Palitus Armranzo who wants to meet with the party, as do all of the leaders of the orders. Larrador offers to teleport the group to the Isle of Mystrium and is sure that they could probably teleport back.

During this time, Tak goes to the Dancing Bear Tavern to meet with the Lady Torreal Fealrik. They discuss if it would be feasible for her to hire his family to help transport her wares from Fathalom to Castle Sirather Ultimately it is decided that she should speak to Tak's father. After this meeting they enjoy a nice lunch together.

In the afternoon Shei goes to the Hall of the Explorers to find some magical items. He undergoes the "initiation" to join the Hall and faces the Blindbox. Putting his arms into it he gets bit by something and suddenly he has long flowing blond locks. He gets a bag of holding and also stops by the job board. There he sees two postings, "Help, my daughters been taken by a hag," and "Help, seeking creature who killed entire farm" with a picture of Voidheart.

The party goes to sleep.

3rd day of the Red Moon

In the morning, Larrador teleports them to the Isle of Mystrium, along with the corpse of the satyr, and they wind up in the Village of Libraries
