Session 13: Back on the Road Report
General Summary
The party starts searching through the baker's cavern cooking area. There are a pair of Eyes of Charming near some boxs, Tak picks up Fredrick's Bow to bring back to his family, while Voidheart picks up the mace of the baker.
Waiting around for the croissant to finish, the party rests. Garuman identifies the Mace and finds it to be sentient. Voidheart throws it into the oven, causing the brick structure to erupt in fire. In the Smoke the party sees the laughing face of the diabolical baker. As the smoke begins to fill the basement the party flees. They return to the inn for the night.
20th day of the Orange Moon
While traveling through the Wilds, Shei eats the Croissant of Two Thousand Folds. A pair of extra arms grow out of his torso. Voidheart shares some memories of Mika of an old man sitting on a porch watching a storm. And when the party camps for the night, they spot a camp fire in the distance.
21st day of the Orange Moon
Mika finds an odd occurrence, a chest hanging precariously on branch, Shei shoots if off with an eldritch blast and Voidheart manages to catch it before it hits the ground (and explodes). Inside the party finds a mask in the shape of a lion.
Garuman goes hunting and finds weed to replenish his burnt stock.
While the party begins to set up camp they are approached by a band of warriors, a wizard, and a bard. Their leader, a man with a rapier and a wide-brimmed hat approaches. He is a member of the CObalt watch and they have come in search of Shei.
Being worshippers of Probrita they are tasked with rooting out evil. They believe that Shurrani is an evil individual and want to bring Shei back for a fair trail. Shei denies that Shurrani is evil; the party stands by Shei. The Cobalt Watch leaves, but not before warning the party to be careful; they still believe Shurrani is dangerous. Garuman asks them to go to the Isle of Mystrium, specifically the dwarven mines. The man introduces himself as Sortin and says they will look into it.
22nd day of the Orange Moon
The Party gets lost partially but still manages to reach the lake just as night falls. In the cover of night 3 umizu come out of the lake, dragging a tied-up individual. They begin to hoist him over a hole underneath a stone cairn. Garuman flies and saves him and a fight ensues.
The Umizu priestess tries to flee but Tak's Champion Challenge keeps her in check. Once the umizu are defeated. The individual Garuman begins to awaken, looks up and says "Garuman the Green? Is that you?"
At this time Voidheart approaches and looks up at the cairn, seeing the symbol of a fist being pierced by a sword. He feels a strange force come over him and suddenly he attacks Tak.
