Session 10: Goodbye Wyren and hello new friend Report

General Summary

Into the dungeon, the party proceeds and finds a long-forgotten structure. The purpose of this area is unknown. In one of the side chambers are two basins of water. The left has a silver coin emblazoned with two horned faces.  Opposite it was a basin with a circular indent in it.   Searching another chamber, the one with dying pants, Garuman finds a coin inside the planter. He places it within the indent, which causes the coin opposite to pop free. Going down a series of tunnels Tak finds a strange fountain with a pair of octopus tentacles coming out of it. He chooses to drink from it and gains the ability to drink underwater for 2 days. There is a strange skull in another chamber with fangs that go from bottom and top lip.   A trapped doorway causes short insanity among Tak and Mika. There is a a strange being behind the door, bound in chains, a creature by the name of Void Heart. The party asks the skull if they can trust this creature, and it replies, "You can trust this Void Heart".   In the final chamber, the party finds twin thrones, with skeletons of curved-headed individuals. Upon stepping on the dias, two vampiric mists are released and the party defeats them. Garuman turns the skulls to faces towards one another, and a small slot opens. Putting the coin into the slot a secret door opens. A long corridor leads to a room where a whirlpool swirls down into a hole with an aqueduct feeding it from above. Tak looks down into it and it is revealed that it is a portal to the Eternal Domain. Tak does down into the whirlpool and sees an underwater city. There he spots giants with dark blue skin, four tentacles on the back with circular mouths with rows of teeth. They begin heading towards the portal so Tak escapes.   Reaching the hut of Agan an eyeball opened on the wood to greet them. To gain entrance they must give up an item of great personal value. Shei gives his book of shadows even though Agan knows it will disappear after an hour. She says that it appears that they are seeking her crystal eyes, which allow her to cast her divinations. To get it, she requires their aid in retrieving a new crystal...from her dreams.   Tak, Shei, Void Heart, and Mika all drink the tea offered them. Garuman chooses not to at the time.
