Session 27: A Land at War

General Summary

The party speaks to the Lieutenant and speaks to him about the upcoming war in Sirather. Garuman makes Tinky get the summoner's butt bag and finds some treasure within. The party decides its best to leave the village quickly; on the road they find a caravan who tells them more about the upcoming war. Tak tells them to settle in the Weaver family homestead for the time being.

The party begins to search for a place to spend the night and they find a dilapidated house. As they are searching it Tak peers into the Ethereal Plane spotting dozens of strange shadowy figures who react when magic is cast. They decide that it would not be a good idea to stay in the house, instead going to a nearby cave.

37th day of the Orange Moon

When the party wakes up they find that the house is gone. They continue down the road and they spot something. The recent rainstorm has uncovered a cobblestone road. Its stone is ancient and they decide to follow it. Shei uses Anvi and follows the road where there is a sign in old elvish. "Mines of the Silverwave Clan".

Going into the mines the party finds the floors are covered in sand and bones. Searching one of the rooms they find a humanoid statue in the sand. There is an old caturized wound on the left leg of the statue that appears to be pulsating slightly. They explore deeper into the mines and find a medusa in a chapel. Fighting the medusa, Shei uses Ghoulish hunger and eats some of the flesh of the medusa once they kill her.

When the fight is complete the party uses the blood of the medusa to revive the Elvish woman, she looks at Tak and goes "What are you?"
