Session 21: The Ogre King Meeting Report

General Summary

Morning of the 31st day of the Orange moon.

  The Ogre King has come to offer the party a job... working for him and serving his needs. He wants them to report to the Ogre Duke in Suthoran where he is doing various things. If they do this, the king is willing to reward them handsomely. He gives them one weeks time for an answer. He also mentions that by the end... one of them will work for him.   The party leaves the tower to head back to the tower. On the first day of travel a brutal storm hits the party. They manage to push through it it.  

32nd day of the Orange Moon

  The party reaches the Waterfall Trading post. Archmage Sharreph gives Mika an animated shield, carried by an ethereal Mongoose, in exchange for a pledge to never told another shield of his.   Shei tells the archmage about the fact that the Ogres are free and he promptly shuts up shop; his tavern disappears in a blink of an eye while he goes to warn the other inhabitants of the trading post.    While Tak negotiates with some traders, he sees a wagon that is a strong wooden box. It has windows that have bars and heavy wooden shutters on it. When Voidheart takes out his silver longsword it begins to shudder and shake violently.   The party heads to the tree house and begins plans for expansion. They plan to build 5 farms, 6 bedrooms, an avairy and put 700 gp towards the discount teleportation circle.   During the night, after heading out towards Monster's Alley, Shei sees movement in the swamps of a gigantic creature moving. Mika sees a "parade of lights" several miles off into the night; towards the direct the party is going.
