16.3.4.5 Ambush in the Meadery Report

General Summary

(entry missing before this one where we took the meadery)   Zaxel was talking with Varr'os and Luna while the others mustered to the south getting ready for the worst. Zaxel notices an Ogre come out of one of the privies.. and charges at the ogre with Angramarsh in hand. Luna growls a challange and tries to trip but fails. varr'os shoots nicking it. Soon enough another ogre falls. Zaxel looks around and sees an ogre trying to sneak into one of the other privies. He takes aim and advances, so too does varros and luna.. its a slugfest, for a moment it seems as though zaxel lands the perfect hit.. the ogre officer falls.

Rewards Granted

Large armor, MW Mountain Mail, MW Officers Mountain Mail, MW Steel shield, MW officers shield.
Large weapons, 1 MW Arkus, 1 gold plated mw arkus.   1 bronze helm that was used as a drinking helm (duergar helm), and the other half of the broken mining pick shaft we found Tuesday night also labeled with the initials FMT.

Whoever or whatever FMT is or stands for.. We have the full shaft of their Mining Pick. and 1 part of the broken pick blade. We still need the part where the pickblade attaches to the handle shaft, and perhaps the other blade as well if it too is broken off. Greater Make Whole mended the shaft into one piece, but it did not replace the missing pieces.
