A Specter of Opulence Report

General Summary

The party continues to explore the Steil manor after encountering a strange ethereal humanoid, they discover an array of secret doors leading to a room with a strange machine made of gears, springs and other bits and pieces. After Litrix heard some suspicious noises from outside, the party went outside to investiggat the movement in the bushes. After some tracking and investigation they found a metal cat who seemed to be responding to Litrix's Bell.    After deciding to seek out an artificer to see if they could figure out what the machine did the party, in attempting to leave the manor grounds was trapped inside a strange ethereal room facing a similarly made creature. After some difficulty and some well placed Magic Missiles, the creature was defeated and they decided to answer the question "Who seeks the truth?". At that point, the room shifted to show an ocean view and a distorted figure, who seemed interested in the party's efforts to uncover secrets and their newly acquired interest in Illidar.
