006: Gift Wrapped

General Summary

The party contemplates their next move when they learn they're invited to Dr. Brenner's funeral. They decide they want to investigate his body again to see why the body had already been released to his family. They break into the funeral home and learn that he's actually scheduled to be cremated. After collecting some more samples, they escape back to the lab and prepare for the funeral.   Once at the funeral they are confused to see a coffin open with a body in it. They say their piece to him and discovered that the body was a fake. As they watch the body be put into the ground suddenly, the murders body is dropped from a tree with a signed nailed to him with a message written in blood, "To all who disobey your fate will be much worse."   They quickly return back to Salty's and learn that there was a gift waiting for them, in it was a message with a riddle. The riddle led them to the church "Dr." Martino was banned from and they found another riddle leading them to a water bottle storage warehouse. The warehouse was foggy and very damp, but they continued trekking onward. They found four dangling gift boxes above a vat of some kind of acid, then they heard their messenger speak about a game he wanted to play. The gift boxes then opened revealing their loved ones. They were then told to choose which one to save, refusing the villain became displeased and dropped all into the vat before disappearing. But as he left so too did the illusion making it to appear that there was any danger, instead they found random strangers having been dropped onto the floor.
