General Summary

The party stealthed their way out of the accursed town of Ailec. Sneaking past Wights and zombies to escape this sinister den.
From there, they teleported to Mount Cashell to regroup and see if they could gain any new information.   Upon their arrival, they are located by Inspector François Devereaux, who had been a thorn in their side for some time. He asked the party to accompany him to the City Council. He confided that because of their heroics in protecting the council, particularly his Sister, Adele Devereaux (Mayoress of Birchnod), He told the party he would be dropping charges against them and they were no longer persons of interest in his investigation. He warned however, that any future transgressions by the party would be met with the full extent of the law.   At the city council chamber, The speaker Fenton Ostrum, showered praise and thanks upon the party for their heroic deeds. The city council awarded the party Maplevale Manor, a home located in the north western part of the country. After that they overheard Eämmon being charged with several counts of rabble rousing and was sentenced to 2 months in jail. The party, as a way of saying thanks to their Bard Ally, paid his bail allowing him to walk free. The bard gives his thanks and promises to give them aid when they need it, as a friend.   From there, the party met up with Rosalind and they exchanged what they knew of Vaarn and the Avatars of Tharizdun. Rosalind told them one was headed toward the forest lands in the western side of the country and the other was heading to Ravenshead Prison in the Northern Elder Isle. They decide to pursue The One encroaching on the forest. Before leaving town, the party shopped for supplies, got some tattoos from Eurri, and one of them went on a lovely date with a government employee.   And they met up with their mysterious child friend, Stephen Derleth. They pried him for information about his family and home life, Shit boy gaining knowledge of his address. They bid him adieu for the night and took their rest.   They awoke the next morning ready to head out to The western forests. They humbly ask Eämmon to teleport them quickly which succeeds. From there they find the forest in a terrible state. Dead animals, fires, and bad energies permeated throughout. After dealing with the fires in Stron Horn's home, Caer tracked The avatar to a clearing where they saw him summoning some sort of demon spirit to inhabit dead bodies and were spotted by two hounds at his heel.   And that's where we will pick up the story!
