General Summary

The party woke up to the sound of cannons and gunshots from Ravå, while the late night sky was rendered a dark crimson from fires along the entire Ravmark. As the party got up, they came under attack by dark-clad assassins in the night, wielding longswords and pistols, and each augmented by their own strange abilities. One of them exuded an aura of silence around her, while another seemed immune to the effects of magic. The third was heavily armed and was high on a potent cocktail of combat-drugs.
They attacked the party with great gusto, quickly forcing Gorm back into Grandal while the party came to his aid. Elizabet realized quickly that while these strange assailants wore new armor and used new weapons, they were clearly Witch Hunters. She signed to them in Hunt-sign, telling them that she had a mission of her own. Confused, the woman immune to magic signed for her own to stand down while she spoke with Elizabet. She walked through the mycelium-spikes Kuzuha had created, and took off her mask as she spoke with Elizabet. She revealed piercing blue eyes framed by light blonde hair, and Elizabet saw that this woman was the mirror image of her young self. The Witch Hunter was confused, and asked for Elizabet's designation, to which she responded: "7455011-Elizabet". Elizabet explained that she was on a mission from Eisenfried, and that the Witch Hunters were interfering with her mission. The Witch Hunter accepted that Elizabet's task was more important as it was the decree of a Gold Priest, but she would be back later once she had conferred with her superiors. The Witch Hunters returned to the forest, but the party could not shake the feeling that this was merely the first encounter they would have with the hunters.
However, Ravå was burning, so the party made quick progress west, while John White travelled to Aftensol to alert the People's Militia of the attack. Riding quickly towards Ravå, the Loose Cannons saw that the town was under attack
