General Summary

Whitecastle, Starfall Day 54

The first observation of the day was reported by agent 4. The Prince was noted entering the Royal Arms in the early morning, escorted as always by his squire. He indulged himself in a spot of cards, records show he made no significant profit. However, a significant ruckus was observed between him and General Huffington. On leaving the establishment the Prince brought the scuffle with Huffington to a close with a magical fist that popped the General back through the doors and barred him from persuit, although we doubt the General was in a fit state to pursue. Witnesses claim to have seen the Prince spit acid at the General and transform himself into a bizarre-looking man. The Prince was not reported outside his accommodations in the Castle again until late afternoon when he was tracked to Mim's

 

Operatives spotted the Piper in the Gull's Rest conversing with the monstrous crew of The Drowned Sailor. Only 4 have been spotted on land, The Captain, hermit crab first mate 'Seb', and two goons for muscle. They were overheard discussing how to learn more about the sleeping princess and giving directions to Mim's. We now believe the Captain is one of the Enchanted Maidens and not transporting her as originally thought. The Savy Mouse's crew including the creature that escaped the Island were there too although none of the men were able to locate PiB.

  Hastily added note: Direct confrontation or subterfuge with the Drowned Sailor crew is not advised at this time. Awaiting new instruction.  

The wolf has been the most active and demonstrted behaviors we might use to compromise. In the early hours, he was reported as visiting Mim's, leaving with 3 items on his person. Shortly thereafter he was sighted at Woodcutter's Guild (No disguise) where he literally blew down support beams causing a collapse of the building's interior. The girl and Hamish were outside the premises at the time. The act prompted a chase through the streets of Whitecastle and onto the rooftops which was witnessed by many. No town guard intervention was possible before the guildmaster leaping from the shadows took down the Wolf with a single strike. Casualties are yet to be confirmed, the guild is in lockdown. Following intervention from Mim the Wolf remained under her observation until the late eve.

  Three amendments are included: We've pulled back Agent 3 who reported scrutiny from the guildmaster during the pursuit of the wolf. Strong indications of a relationship between the Wolf and Hamish which could be exploited and finally we have seeded the following headlines for use in tomorrow's publications.

Little was seen of Gretel. We know she was staying at the Woodcutter's Guild and present for the attack documented. We then noted her arrival at Mim's shortly before the Prince in the afternoon. We believe she will harbor ill intentions toward her traveling companion as a result of the attack. We may be able to use it to our advantage.

 

As you are aware observations of Mim's is limited. We know the discussions that occurred related to the sleeping princess and a method of locating her without magical means like scrying. We will monitor Mim's for further assistance to the party. The residents, Don-alder and Josip Biden are our best chance at uncovering more.

 

At the time of this report all persons of interest except 2 are in Mim's. The Wolf is en route to what we believe is his second contact with B&B, Agent 4 is tracking. The Huntsman has not been observed leaving the Knight Captain's quarters today, we have redirected Agent 2 to the quarters to keep watch. Details of activities will be provided when available.

P.S. Rising tensions between SW's close companions are growing as predicted. We will allow more time for physical altercations to occur before intervening to escalte to the next stage.
