Session 64: The Angry Green

General Summary

The party defeated the botanical undead and moved all of the levers, opening the doors to the room and discovering that a secret passage had opened and a large shambling mound of kudzu appeared and began the fight. During the fight, the kudzu mound saw Zadock’s icon of the Leviathan and stopped fighting to ask why he had it. He explained that he was trying to free the Leviathan.   The mound spoke with the voice of Acacia, the Leviathan’s lover, and she said that she is sending her vines out to tear down the walls and pull apart the city brick by brick to free her love, but the fires stop her. The party said that they were to free the Leviathan, as they discovered the lighthouse being the key. Acacia told the party that should they fail with the lighthouse, to stop the fires and she will tear down the city and destroy everyone within it until her love is freed. The party agreed to this.   The party took a long rest, and collected Jim Gallows’ contraband, but also found in the secret sanctuary, the spear, Gae Bulg, that was crafted by the Leviathan himself, which can impale an opponent and then extend 30 barbs causing great damage to remove the spear.
