Session 32: The Cursed Marsh Report
General Summary
The session began with a crazed man running into the red moon inn, incessantly shouting incoherently. Geraldt read his thoughts and his mind was full of images of a "Great Beast". They then headed to the marsh after retrieving the body of Yulef to put an end to the curse that seeped into his soul. During this time, Zeal saw the great beast for but a moment as it disappeared from view and a howl echoed throughout the marsh. A large, undead, grotesque deer followed by a cohort of twisted wolves was headed towards the party as they attempted to hide out of sight, but it was of no use as the wolves sniffed out the party. The party began to fight the beasts, with Geraldt fighting them off as they began to assault him up a tree. Whilst Orion and Zeal dimension doored away and began to assault the creatures. After the fight, Orion had popped the dear with his shatter spell, leaving only its skull which Geraldt collected. They then arrived at the Wickerman's tree, where Geraldt placed Yulef's body inside of the cavity within the tree and he alone was then transported to a strange dark place with foot high water and Yulef, as he was before, sat on a stool 30 ft away from him. Geraldt was forced into a duel with Yulef as the rest of the party was assaulted by hordes of undead. After the fight, the entirety of the party was barely standing on their own two feet as they began to return to Caernstock where they encountered the minstrel from the Estate of Lord O'keefe. They stole his horse, leaving him only with some food and copper. They then returned to the city where they bathed and rested for the night
