Session 35: Nurgloth The Eternal Report
General Summary
The session began with the party continuing through the hideout of the Draconians to find the Keystaff. They pulled the last few levers to open the gates within the hideout and found a small flumph which had no name who simply camed with them and warned them about the battle to come. Eventually they made their way inside to the inner hideout and found Nurgloth the Eternal, escorted by two automatons and a few draconians. The room had two glowing yellow crystals which were sources of power for a magical barrier that held the keystaff. A long battle ensued between the party and the forces of Nurgloth, with both sides using powerful abilites such as Aes' runes and the explosive abilities of Nurgloth which controlled the battle. Geraldt and Zeal destroyed the two crystals which exposed the keystaff for the taking. After whittling down the allies of Nurgloth, and only himself remaining, he fled with the keystaff out of the hideout through a backdoor. The party gave pursuit but were unable to catch up, seeing a steam powered vehicle from their shared vision which shot a cannon, barely missing the party. Nurgloth fled with this vehicle, the keystaff along with him. The party returned to their keep where they rested for the night, but they were interupted by gunshots outside, finding Zeal in tears and his gun thrown away, now broken. The party found footprints, but none that lead anywhere.
