Session 7: Sneakin' and Ballin' Report
General Summary
The session began with the party returning to the city after a tough fight at the Forlorn Peaks. They first came across some soldiers dragging away a commoner and throwing him in the back of a wagon with more commoners inside, a lieutenant by the name of Theo Morris stopped them from investigating further, saying that they are poking their noses where they shouldn't. After, they met with Lord O'keefe and discussed the masquerade ball they were meant to infiltrate. After a timely discussing they found the minstrel missing in the basement of the manor, with only a dried bloodstain left on the floor of his cell. Later, they found themselves at the ball held by Lord Ulrich Leitdorf, and after a while of blending in and discovering the identity of Lord Leitdorf, they planted the letter in his office and the ring on Leitdorf himself. After leaving the party, they were ambushed by a small posse of thugs who were seemingly sent by the Scaled King. After a rough fight without any of their equipment, they defeated the thugs, before seeing some bystanders seemingly in shock and running, most likely to fetch some guards.
