Session 33: Preparations Report
General Summary
The session began with the party receiving a vision of desolation, with slow, armoured vehicles equipped with a variety of weapons rolling through a scorched and destroyed Marcroix. They viewed this from above, seemingly in a city that was in the clouds. After they woke up, the headed to the Claymore where they set sail, back to Helmgart. On the way back, a castaway was spotted, but the party seemed sceptical and the ship couldn't make any stops due to the fact that they had goods to deliver to a city that needed it. They also encountered Gale force winds which knocked Geraldt off of the ship, but Orion saved him by jumping in too and using dimension door. The party finally arrived in Helmgart, seeing many ships of the Royal navy which they also saw on the way to Caernstock, and many more being built. In the city square they encountered disease ridden individuals who had taken over the platform, preaching about how the Weeping Pox is blessing from the gods and how the city should be grateful for it's presence. After passing this, they dropped off Malik at Lenna and Blaine's home and were told by Lenna that she has found where Burblespue Halescourge may be located, at the Titan's Remnant. They then headed to the Queen's keep where they informed her about Geheimnisse approaching and that they now know the location of the Blood Lord's Jewel. The party was also told that a large castle to the West, Cardle Hold, had finally fallen due to attrition and now is under Draconian control. The party then returned to the keep where a building had finally been complete from the work of Caela. They also found The Scaled King out of his shackles by the water with Celtra, who had made flower necklaces for him. Zeal took Celtra inside, and Aes had a private conversation with Diedrich who gave a bit more detail on what he knew about the Iron legion and the forces surrounding them. The party then met with the Allied Draconians who spoke of an individual named Nurgloth the Eternal who is the keeper of the keystaff in a place called Beggar's ridge. The session ended with the party gathering supplies and selling weapons to the army.
