C2 Worlds Beyond #4: Boats by the Dozen. Report

General Summary

The Crew set off to find Skyla and thanks to the Expendables Life Scanner, they were able to pin point her location and discovered she was on a sea boat filled with 30 King's Rider with two individuals who they identify as possible spellcasters. They formulate a plan to air drop from their Planeship and featherfall their way down and using a flare to signal Bison and Klaus to pick them up. Bison informs them of the terrible weather and warns that the waves are huge and should have capsize the boat by now.   The Crew make their jump at a 1000 feet and Three cast featherfall at the last minute to nullify their damage. Tobi makes the landing along with Dougless drop kicking a King's Rider off to the side and Leon stabbing another on the opposite side. Leon uses wail from the grave to attack the captain at the helm as the assassin's knife sinks into his forehead. Dougless pulls the fallen King's Rider back onto the ship before he and Leon assume the Captain's silhoutte while Tobi attacks a King's Rider on an anti ship platform but one of the spellcasters; a druid spots him. Jana and Three miss their drop but manage to get on the deck but mistakenly attack Dougless think he was the captain. Tobi and the Druid exchange blows and the Smuggler manages to trip the druid into the cargo hold and make him lose concentration on his Control Water Spell forcing a wave to come towards the ship. Dougless turns the ship into the capsizing wave and manages to wash off the majority of the King's Rider off the deck. As the ship begins to sink, Dougless has the remaining Rider named Murook Hawk to take the helm as the crew descend into the hold.    Dougless, Three, Tobi and Jana enter the hold and with Jana casting Detect Object manage to find 3 containers of Military Impulse Frames before the remaining druid attack them in shark form. The Druid dodges a shot from Three before escaping the ship. Leon on the other hand, enters the crew quarters and finds 6 Riders playing DD&D First Addition and a chained up Skyla. He sets up a trip wire and coats two of his daggers with Spice. He throws it with only one failing and attacking his allies while the one remaining rushes the door only to trip and faceplant the deck. Leon finishes him off before releasing Skyla. With their target secured, they decide to steal a few more valuable goods such as a crate of cheap wine, 60 cred sticks, 2 chest full of blasters, and dry rations. they also manage to score rare goods such as Neutron Torpedoes, Spare parts to build a Plane Shift Drive and a Weird Frame. They hide all the goods within their smuggling compartment.   Just as they are about to leave, A Grey Watch Dropship detects them and investigates them. The Crew quickly cover up their goods and with some honest everyday ship doings, they manage to past the investigation with just a fine for undocumented goods. Dougless returns 2 of the Impulse Frames to Sparrow with 1 giving to Skyla.
