C2 Worlds Beyond #2: The train Heist Report
General Summary
The Crew make their final preparations for the train heist on the morning; Leon buys a hacking rig, Dougless buys smoke grenades, paint and a grapling hook and Three buys 15 flares. they all don disguises and succesfully infiltrate the train with the Easy Rider despite rough weather. After knocking out the engineers and hacking the system, the crew began the second phase of the plan; Klaus would plan the explosives and rig an emp device to make it look like an accident while the rest of the crew who head for the cargo car to look for the goods. A single marine nearly ruins the plan but they manage to knock him out with some debate on using him as a scapegoat. They find the goods they were looking for and begin robbing other things including 90 credit sticks, a regular briefcase containing blue prints on a ship design, and a luxury briefcase containing an advance detonator to something. Three rigs the marine carbine with explosives to make it look like an accident before they bail the train and trigger the explosion. they safely make it back to the city; dividing their loot and hiding them in the smugglers compartment and laying low for the next few hours as news of the train starts picking up. Three keeps the Knowledge Cube, knowing of its dangers and Old Pete only gives them 3 quarters of their reward. Dougless and Klaus pay Olly his money for the explosives before having some fun and pinning the heist on Olly by detonating several Grey Watch vehicles and covering their loose ends.
