Session 13: Keep Going Report

General Summary

After exploring the bathroom and finding nothing of note the party continue to explore the second floor. Throughout the floor they found multiple notes giving them more insight into whatever happened at the keep.   In the Side Room that Rohesia Raugnac was kept in they found her diary and learnt the story of how she came to be a ghost. They found her corpse and ring and Sprig Silvertoung ended up discovering it had traces of magic, taking it with them.   The group then came upon the Nursery. Drostre Bassast ended up kicking in the door to the Kid's Room therein finding the frozen skeletons of two children. This shook the party, Ashley Benatar in particular as the group made their way to the basement resolving to kill anyone who could be held responsible.   After finding a particularly personal love letter to Kenelm, the group find themselves at a locked prison like door. Unlocking it they find a corridor filled with rat traps leading to another closed door. Hearing movement behind the door, Sprig Silvertoung took a chance and called out to Aeneas hoping that might be the unidentified lurker.   After answering a few questions through the door that displeased Drostre Bassast, he stormed in and held his blade to the man now known to be Aeneas. After a tense discussion the group agree to take Aeneas with them to attempt to break the demonic curse on the keep.   He lead them to the Ritual Room where Drostre Bassast used The Siphon to draw blood from Aeneas and summon the envoy left here.
