Davian is the head of the Martikov family branch that runs the Wizard of Wines. He's an older wereraven who seeks only to provide Barovia with what morale boost can be gained from good wine. -
Dwelph
Dwelph is a devout druid and a complete mess of a man. The best way for him to deal with his mistakes, or the unfortunate circumstances that befall him, is to take the pain in stride and focus on the beauty of changing nature. -
Erik the Guardsman
Erik, sometimes known by the party as "The Laugher," was nearly killed by Burgomaster Vallakovich for laughing at a disappointing celebration. He was rescued by the adventurers, and has repaid the debt by warning them to leave Vallaki instead of apprehending them for the murder of the new Baroness Wachter. -
Esmerelda D'avenir
The hot-headed Vistani apprentice of Rictavio. Against Rictavio's commands, she has followed him to Barovia and seeks to help him end Strahd's rule. -
Gadof Blinsky
Blinsky is the well-known toymaker within Barovia. He is more than happy to greet new customers and takes great pride in the toys he makes. Blinksy is somewhat of a coward and can easily be made to do the bidding of others. -
Ireena Kolyana
Ireena is a once-captive of Strahd's charms. She is a strong-willed, somewhat sarcastic woman who now exists in hiding from a land that is nothing but dangerous for her. -
Ismark Kolyanovich
Ismark is the son of the late Burgomaster Kolyan Indirovich of Barovia village. He now spends his time protecting his sister from Strahd's searching eyes, ever seeking a place that might be safe. -
Lydia Petrovna
The wife of the late Baron Vallakovich and mother of Victor. After her family was torn apart by Strahd, she regressed into a somewhat catatonic state. When last seen, she was a servant under Fiona Wachter's new rule over Vallaki. -
Rictavio
A vampire hunter masquerading as a bard as he roams Barovia, looking for his chance to slay the greatest vampire yet. He has given the adventurers limited access to his tower hideout. -
The Abbot
The unusually handsome caretaker of the Abbey of St. Markovia. He has been doing strange experiments on the patients there, making them animal/human hybrids. He has revealed himself to be a deva. -
Urwin Martikov and Danika Dorakova
The husband and wife pair who run the Blue Water Inn in Vallaki. They are wereravens, as are their two sons Brom and Bray. They all belong to the wereraven society that opposes Strahd. Urwin is related to Donovan Martikov. -
Victor Vallakovich
The morose and moody child of the late Baron Vallakovich who studies magic intensely in the hopes of finding a way to leave this dreadful place. -
Vladimir Horngaard
Once a mighty knight, now a hollow revenant, Vladimir served as Lord Argynvost's right hand. He now haunts the halls of Argynvostholt in limbo, believing that leaving Strahd to suffer in his own miserable domain is punishment enough for his crimes.
