Chapter 4: The Harpy

The following day the party leave to find the harpy causing all the trouble where they are attacked by Orcs and flying Kobolds. Sadly, this encounter killed Avarious, leaving Allanon to run back to the town to warn them of the oncoming attack. After resting and dealing with the small invasion, Allanon picks up another Dwarf named Clangeddin Silverbeard, a man of the wild and current nurse of the town. Before setting off once again, the new party is given direction by a mysterious man in black clothing who Silver gave his axe to as a present. The party takes off to the east, near Crager's Pass , the area that the informant gave them.

Once within a small dense forest, Silver is overtaken by the Harpy’s song and almost falls off a cliff. Battle ensues and Orcs and Kobolds attack the two, all commanded by the Harpy. With good aim, Allanon takes a shot and kills the harpy after much trouble beforehand. After combat the two search the harpy’s small little hut finding treasure and the dead body of the Blacksmith’s son.
