Through Mist and Shadow

General Summary

A party sets out to explore the demiplane of Myrkand once again. After arriving, they head south and discover a ransacked hut. Within is the body of a human man and a spirit mourning over him. She introduces herself as Lucy and informs the party of more people like the man in a village to the south called Faufnor.   The party ventures towards this village and eventually realize that this is where Loneholm stood in their realm. Several buildings are arranged in a similar fashion, though many appear to still be under construction and have been abandoned, and, in the center of the town, there stands a massive tree. The group meet with the Faufnor survivors and learn that they are from a previous colonization attempt of Idriell. As they attempt to come up with a plan to rescue them, they are informed by the people that they must wait to harvest the tree though. The party is persuaded to wait a few days until the people of Faufnor are able to complete a weird ritual and are presented with some Fruits of Muanilth.   With the fruits in hand, the party sets out with one survivor in tow in order to test whether they can bring one back. After a quick encounter with some creatures on the way back to the Stone Circle, they discover that the people of Faufnor are able to return to the Material Plane, so long as they are able to bathe in the strange liquid from the tower upon their return. The party is able to transport Lucy as well, but when they try to bathe her she turns corporeal and then seems to age million of years in a matter of seconds, turning to dust.
