Session 15: The Wind Sings... Report

General Summary

The party crossed the Meretorr without any further difficulties, passing onto the long road that winds from the gate up to Dagmeron. It was a bitter and desolate path, the fields having lain fallow for years and the houses abandoned for longer still. Those that the party did see were dilapidated, built of rotting planks and weathered stone. The region they were passing through, which was once the agricultural heart of Dagmar's Finger, was now nothing more than barren land and limbless trees.

The party continued through this dreary land with their heads held low to protect them from the incessant winds. It was a dark procession, but these were dark times, after all. The only solace for these travelers was the occasional timber house close to the road. Close enough, at least, to reach without being exposed to the wind for long. Though not deadly, the daytime gales on Dagmar's Finger are certainly not pleasant. It was in one of these houses, however, that the party encounter its first taste of life beyond the Meretorr.

Marcarius enters a house and encounters emaciated dog. It chases him, rest of party intervenes. Kromm wrestles with it. Francis cuts the dog in half with halberd, but also cleaves Kromm. Kromm goes into rage and break halberd in half.

Cart scene.

Party arrives at Ninegraves and learns about area and the forsaken nature of Dagmar's Finger's plight. Garo joins up with party as a hanger on, intending to head to Dagmeron.

Some of the party spend the night in a drunken stupor, while others take to rough hay beds in the dark crypts for sleep.
