FQ XIII: At Doom's Gate

It has been nearly twenty years since the world went to Hell. The skies turned crimson. the Gates all lost their quicksilver shimmer, and instead became incarnadine pools. All those who tried teleportation magic were sent, not to where they wished, but instead to a world filled with fiends, as the Abyss and the Hells shifted onto Gaia.   Chaos ruled that first few years, and the devil's appeared with promises of power and a return to order, all plated up with their silvered tongues. Alliances were made, souls were bound, and civilization collapsed and reformed.   But it has been twenty long years since that day, and there is an entire generation that doesn't know of a world in which devils and demons are commonplace on Gaia. A world without the Blood War. And in this new world, Fiend Hunting has become profitable, if not dangerous, new profession. Whether it be devil slaying, or demon hunting, these brave individuals will protect those who cannot protect themselves. Whether for coin, vengeance, or for the soul of mankind.
