Y4 D41 & 42 Report

General Summary

The party that found themselves suddenly bereft of hearth and home (due to a combination of whimsy and a wayward wizard portal) at last returned to Sage's Hollow, where they met with the newly-returned Hallus, Conord, Mellis and Varren. With stone, copper and cotton (among other things) in short supply, and as the garden had once again fallen to disrepair, the inhabitants decided to continue building up their supplies and prepare for a rather intense round of construction and crafting to commence in the near-future, driven in part by the accumulation of 100 gold for the town coffers, thus triggering the need for the organization of a formal government. A town hall would need to be built soon, but not before politics would make its introduction, for now begins the race for town mayor! Meanwhile, far to the east, Isabella continued her collection of wool from the local sheep population while Silver set out to find an additional animal companion. While Silver's efforts were richly rewarded with the befriending of a rather sizable venomous spider, Isabella's were stymied by the sudden appearance of an angry bird defending its nest. After a short battle, she managed to escape her winged assailant and return to her shearing and threadwork. As Silver makes his way back to Isabella with new animal friend in tow, one only can imagine the reactions a 3-foot-tall spider will elicit from the populace back home.   Back in town, the election looms large. Three names have been placed in the proverbial hat for mayor: Conord, Tanaros and Silver. Whom among them will win?   Well, only two things are certain in this world, and that sure isn't one of them.
