Session 36: The Wardens of the Fey Gate

General Summary

Rayla Moonshadow experienced strange drug addled visions after consuming mushrooms at Willow Meadowstride‘s home. While in those vision, Rayla began to experience vision of Willow’s orignal quest to open the Fey Gate, including asking for forgiveness from Naltyr and Ezrithel.

Feyre Blackwood was able to concoct a cure for the effects of the mushrooms and able to pull Rayla back to lucidity. Open returning to normal, she led the party to the Fey Gate, where Kthh Lthhk was already waiting. Against the wishes of the Fey Wardens, Rayla asked Kthh Lthhk two allow Yira Inkstep to investigate the Fey Gate. Using Yira’s chisel, Yira conducted a ritual, allowing her to temporarily open the gate to contact her mother Netheria. During that time, Dac Earreac and Rayla were able to ascertain that The Seed of the First Oak was somewhere within the gate.

With Yira’s help, the party was able to learn that an artifact of trans planar power could be used to reactivate the gate. The Fey Wardens agreed to allow Rayla to try after an empassioned plea from Winnow Olafson.
