Special Session - Wayfinder’s Pride

General Summary

A party of Adamantine Wayfinders made up of Anqo’ra Torekki, Gamlen Alfield, Shae Nargan, Korren Scinteya, and Lyric departed from the Adamant Keep. Their missision was to restock a Wayfinder outpost in the Outer Wilds, then continue to on as a part of a winder intitiative led by Kasemi Indara to map and scout the wilds.

While on this second leg of the journey, the party began to receive confusing signals from the Wayfinder command crew as encroaching clouds of Miasma began to encircle the Wayfinder team. As the squad wondered what to do, Lyric heard the voice of Naltyr calling her to safety through a narrow channel in the miasma. As the party follwed after Lyric through this channel, a winged monster attacked them, nearly killing Shae and Korren, but thanks to the support of Anqo'ra and Lyric, were able to survive.

Separated from Wayfinder command, the squad had the perilous task of regrouping and returning to Novus on their own. On their journey back, the party came across a strange manor house in the wilds where they met a terrified Winnow Olafson being held against her will. While Lyric attempt to help her, Naltyr warned her that doing so could cost her life. Winnow was sucked back into the manor house and Lyric agreed to serve the Whisperwind if she helped her friends return to the city.

As the party returned to the city, Lyric stayed behind to find the Whisperwind.
