Session 2: Getting to Leverbad

General Summary

After skinning the strange panther, and collecting every bit of edible meat we could, we traveled onward.   After a while, Traki spots another group of tribal warriors, this one out for revenge. They similarly get crushed fairly quickly. We take what money and things we can from them, and travel onwards along the road. On the continued path toward Leverbad, we meet a pair of Dryads and a tame bear, that heard the Thunderwave spell go off and came to check out what was happening. Traki bullshits them with a story about a campfire and a fart, and for whatever reason.. They believe it.   We travel on, and around sundown we arrive in the small town of Leverbad. The caravan sets up on the town square for the night, and the party goes into the Mermaid's Rest inn to get some food, some drinks, and a place to sleep for the night. Intrepid Traki finds himself a job on the bounty board, asking if we can find the daughter of the blacksmith. She's been kidnapped by a flying man. Not having much luck finding the forge after dusk, he settles for checking things out in the morning.   Brynn forces his way to a table surrounded by sailors to bet 5gp that Enki can win an armwrestling match against whoever wants to take him on. Enki wins, by way of his opponent sneezing and losing his focus at the worst possible time.   The party settles in for the night, with Bobaku sleeping outside by the caravan, to enjoy the starry skies.   Come morning, Brynn and Enki do their own thing, while Traki and Valstrax go visit the old Blacksmith about this kidnapping. The poor guy tells us that his daughter was taken to the old 'Halls of the Everforge', which his family abandoned about 3 generations ago. Armed with this information, the pair checks in at Donnie's Rods, the owner of which is the local informant for the Adventurer's Guild. They get directions towards the Halls, and go to find the rest. Brynn and Enki are up for going along, but Bobaku has decided that escorting a caravan isn't the kind of adventure he was hoping for, and took a boat to Dasgoul.   After a 3 hour walk, the party finds themselves nearing the Halls of the Everforge, and Traki decides to try the diplomatic approach with the 4 guards standing outside. The rest of the party isn't as sneaky as they'd hoped, and Traki get skewered, before the men flee inside. The party gives chase, into the dark halls.   Enki goes down to a hail of arrows, while the party splits up to fight the guards. Where it goes next, only time will tell..
