Session 63: Morning Ambush

General Summary

Well, heading back into the Doomvault had become very routine by now. I think we’re about ready to kill this Lich just so we can be done with this place already. But, it’ll be a while longer. Because the Spirit Naga snitched on us, and there’s a big group of Thayans waiting in the Halls of Obedience. What follows is a massive clusterfuck. One where I actually get hurt pretty badly. Normally that happens to Duldar. Kinda glad it’s me this time.   Long story short: We kill a LOT of these jerks and toss their stuff into our Hole. And we free up the poor prisoners that’re locked up in here, being slowly brainwashed. I should probably check if any of them is a fiend like Pencheska turned out to be… Oh, and we find a secret door with a hidden Black Gate after one of the mages went invisible and fled like a coward. I thought these Thayans were supposed to be fanatical zealots that’d rather die than flee. Maybe that’s just for the grunts and not the leaders. Which just makes them worse, honestly.
