Session 46: Skrik’s Scribbles

General Summary

So, today we ended up in the pools, and there were still a bunch of people, and a dragon turtle outside. Janey and Voron wanted to talk to the dragon turtle. I thought it was a terrible idea, but being outvoted, we did it anyway. Turns out, I’m also wrong sometimes, and the turtle is allegedly just looking to get out. He’s stuck to his chains, and after some investigation, we manage to figure out the pins need to be removed. Thankfully, this is my expertise, so I make short work of it. Afterwards, the Dragon Turtle travels through the portals with us, and we manage to bring him home to his area. I just wish I understood anything they said.   In the next room, we found a pool with bones around. Humanoid and animal. With an identical pool with a huge amount of humans in there we preemptively attacked them using moonbeams and spiritual weapons. I stand still and shoot them, and the creatures that turn out to be trolls, quickly die. Nothing else in here after some looking, and we travel to the next room.   In there, we find a bunch of ghouls which just...die as Duldar does his beautiful magic. We kill off the stragglers, and then suddenly Duldar jumps in. I find I have to save him, so I jump in, and the water bites. But, we get out safely, and end up on the sides. Eventually we dry up, and dispel a magical bubble that tried to eat Miri. I must admit I felt a little sad, but at least it won’t eat us now.   We continue our way and find a bunch of mermaids. The mermaids want bones. Well… We got bones! We deliver them bones, and get to travel by freely. I’m still a little unsure how we’re going to find the phylacteries, but I think it’s good that we’re freeing a lot of people!
