Session 62: Stock up and catch up

General Summary

Thanks to Voron’s cloud magic, we made it back to Lundyn super quickly, and got to the caravan as it was about to leave. There’s an armored woman sitting on the front cart, who took care of the Pencheska problem. Turns out, that’s Alexandra. Janey’s mom! Janey said she doesn’t look very much like her mom, but I’m sure once she figures out how to wear armor and a shield, they’ll look a lot more alike. Anyway, since we’re at Lundyn now, we decided to sell off some of our stuff and stock up on other things. Mostly spellcasting stuff, though I got some cooking supplies as well while I was at the market anyway.   I tell Janey’s mom all about the things we’ve done and fought since Janey joined the group, and how she’s really strong. Janey and Aaldryn were busy with their spell books on the trip back to the… I think Janey calls it a dig site? It took about a day and a half to get there again since we had the caravan and everything.   Once we got there, I made some yummy food for everybody while Janey and her mom had a private talk in that rope hole thing Janey can do. Then Alexandra said she had to go because of a dragon harassing Cameless. I asked her if it’s a black one with a missing eye, if she could tell it hi from the Traveling Gourmands. I doubt it’ll know who we are, but if she’s as strong as she appears to be… I very much doubt it’ll live long enough to worry about who we are anyway. And who knows, maybe it’ll confuse the dragon long enough for her to get in the killing blow.   After dinner, it’s time for a good night’s rest with everybody back safe and sound now that Pencheska isn’t a problem for us anymore, and then back into the Doomvault in the morning. A shame that Thaxalia thinks he can’t trust us anymore, but his loss. If it wasn’t for us, he’d still be trapped in that creepy cave of his.
