The Tournament: neighborhood tourney, Saruim The patron: Earl Roderick This is the Tournament beginning 7 days before the Feast of Pentecost. 100 knights (Young Nights, unknown knights, old knights, Noble Knights, Bad knights) The medieval tournament was a forum for European knights where they could practice and show off their military skills in activities such as jousting or the mêlée, indulge in a bit of pageantry, display their chivalrous qualities and win both riches and glory.
