The Notorious Session 7: The Spirt of Cherries Report

General Summary

Midnight Martius 9th, The party set off to catch the 2nd suspect. While traveling the party kept a more watchful eye on the wearrat assassin and try to rest themselves. Anytime that the assassin would stir or wake Solstice was there to knock him back unconscious. It started to rain worried that they would lose the 2nd suspect in the rain they pushed on. As the rain was letting up the party spotted a tarp. They collected the tarp and kept going. They then noticed that a horse was tied off to the side of the road. The party got off the cart and started to stealthily investigate the area. That’s when they noticed a bag of chalk and the signs of a teleportation circle. Sullivan was able to determine that it was indeed a magical spell for transporting someone to another location. Not having a parchment or anything to draw on the party ended up etching the symbol into the side of the cart. Upon looking around they found that no one was around. Quickly the realization set in that this was evidence that the 2nd suspect got away. Wincen, Solstice and Vera had a realization of potential failure. Wincen to Solstice: Did we Fail? Solstice: No, I don't think so? Solstice to Vera: Is this failing Vera? Vera: ......no? The party ended up gathering up the chalk and gathered the 3rd horse. The party now started to travel back into Vail. They now possess a cart that is now tarped and 3 horses. When the party started for lunch Wincen checked on the assassin and found out he was pretend sleeping and either Solstice or Wincen knocked him out again. The party ate some quick rations and Wincen wanted to get some food from foraging. Wincen found an apple tree and a cherry tree. Wincen had a hard time getting some cherries so he tried to cut down the branch but his axe kept getting stuck. Finally he just ripped the branch off the tree and left a nice scar in the tree. When Wincen got back to the camp for lunch he was questioned about the branch and he then preceded to show the party where he saw the apples and cherries. Upon arriving at the trees. Solstice to Wincen: Is this the tree you had trouble with? Wincen: No, it was a different one? (Deception 3) Solstice: (Insight 6) Well if it isn't your tree why the gash? Where is your tree? Wincen: No Solstice this is the tree. Sorry no good at sarcasm. Solstice: I knew you were lying and yes you do need to work on your sarcasm Wincen: (Rolls Eyes) Solstice: Well you did almost get me so not so much more work maybe Wincen: Was trying to make it obvious The party was able to get some more apples and cherries equivalent of 1 basket of each 1 basket = 1 unit. The party loaded up the cart and set off. They came up to their wonderful smuggler friends and told them to join the cart ride (this wasn’t an option for them to not join). They where told by Wincen if they try to cause problems Solstice will do what she is doing to the assassin to them. And to please keep their mouths shut. So, the party now has 3 criminals being brought to justice. They headed off again to Vail. Upon arriving Vail at the equivalent of about 5am on Martius the 11th they noticed the albino dwarves where still in Vail but there appears to be hundreds of them now wandering the city.
