Curse of Strahd Session 6

General Summary

15th of Mid-Ardent, 1736

The party heads north of Vallaki to Lake Zarovich. There, they find a Barovian man who attempted to sacrifice a wrapped up figure. The party swooped in and saved Luvash’s daughter, Arabelle, from being sacrificed. The man believed the Vistani to be lucky people but the party did not take kindly to it and threw him into the waters. Upon returning Arabelle to Luvash, the party was rewarded by getting to choose which treasure from a stash they would like to have. They chose the Tome of Strahd.

Afterwards, the party heads over to Krezk, which is a small town. When they first took their steps inside, Ireena followed a voice to a nearby lake. There, they saw the spirit of Sergei, Strahd’s brother, hovering above the pool and beckoning for “Tatyana” to be take his hand. The party didn’t believe at first but after wondering how to tell the truth, the two lovers eventually vanished into safety. Up in the sky, a menacing face formed in the black skies as a powerful beam of lighting struck the waters.

Ezmeralda eventually finds the party. They then discuss how to kill certain undead abominations properly and giving pointers on their weaknesses. Ezmerelda also mentions that finding Rudolph van Richten will give the fight against Strahd greater momentum but that old man is out in Barovia somewhere...

The party heads out to the Wizard of Wines Winery to check on why shipments are unavailable. They find the owners huddled out in the tree line watching the winery from afar, warning about a coming danger.

When the party steps foot into the winery, that’s when a lot of rustling from the forests begin. Something approaches and it undoubtedly has a lot of numbers.
