Session One: Fishy Betrayal

General Summary

Our adventurers gathered in Amber town at the behest of Lord Lucas Lehn who was looking for hardy heros to help with Acana's troubles. Before he'd trust them to such an important task, he needed them to wet their swords first and prove their prowess.

In Lagger's Lagger, the crew noticed a strange Kua-Toan named Briggs seeking the adventurer's on Lucas's payroll. He told them that The Weeping Tunnels, his home, contains magical weapons that the heros would need to defeat Lucas's alleged dragon. It turns out that Briggs was only trying to lure the adventurers to a slimy death at the teeth of a giant purple worm. Having defeated the worm, the team learned that their new fishy friend wasn't lying about the weapons. With their new friend and magical weapons in tow, the team headed back to Amber Town. Once there, they promptly reported Briggs betrayal to a Paladin and he was arrested. Briggs has lured several over fighters to their death and that was to much for the team to forgive.

Unfortunatley, Lucas was less impressed with their new weapons than they thought he'd be. He unenthusiastically applauded them and sent them out for a more humanitarian type task.
