Session 23: Of Secrets Untold... Report

General Summary

The party made their way out of the tower and took a long rest. Learning of some time passing from Kiran's elk, they wondered what had happened since they had been gone. Lazer used his parchment of telescription to send a note to Alog telling him of them being locked away and trying to make their way back to the Riuken.   After spotting some oncoming people on horseback, they felt the tower begin to collapse beneath before their feet. With some quick reflexes on Kiran's part to cast feather fall, they all managed to land safely on the ground. Only to see the previously spotted soldiers not looking so friendly.   Running along the ravine and finding a path upward, they managed to put some distance between themselves and these enemies; only to see Kadaj land before them in his transformed visage. Strangely he offered to his help to get them out of there. Reluctantly they agreed and Kadaj scooped them up and headed off.   Talking along the way, they learned of the connected forged between this Axithar and Kadaj due to Lazer's actions. Kadaj spoke of a few more oddities, like the Zaron family being in charge of the land that's known to have belonged to the Barze family, or that Medrivh was not a mortal mage like they thought.   They made their way to Riuken and arrived safely; speaking on Kadaj's behalf to get him entrance into the city and an audience with Alog. Alog shared with them some of what's happened since the adventurer's disappeared.
