Session 41: Night of the Living Dead? Report

General Summary

As the party cleared out the reanimated things and the claws, they carefully made their way down into the basement discovering a large dug out hole the went even deeper down. Keeping a close eye on their surroundings, the party dove into the catacombs beneath this house to see if they could find this Jaliel kid. Winding through some tunnels that eventually gave way into a large cavern with stalagmites and stalactites dotting the interior, around 100 feet away they spotted a dimly lit clearing that seemed to be a pool of raised water in a natural bowl of sorts.   A figure could be seen knelt in front of this pool and they approached quietly to observe. A voice rung out as a shadowy figure formed from the water and began to speak with Jaliel, after a short conversation where this entity reminded Jaliel of their deal and how it gave him power to get back at those who deserved it in exchange for Jaliel's help, Kiran attempted to cast Tasha's Hideous Laughter to incapacitate Jaliel but it failed and the shadowy figure commanded Jaliel to deal with these that would interfere with his works...
