Session 39: Dreams are made of these Report

General Summary

They talked with Beyn and his wife chatting about the town, Lazer snuck outside and then up into their kid's old bedroom. The Oni heard him and locked the other doors and the window. It confronted Lazer and charmed him into following him downstairs, but Kiran and Adara both misty stepped into the bedroom and fight ensued.   The Oni took heavy hits from Adara'a poison arrow and Kiran's Sunbeam before he blasted the hallway with Cone of Cold and then fled and hid downstairs. The party busted through the closed window and landed safely down below; a short deliberation later and they headed to front door to make sure Beyn and his wife were okay. Beyn answered and pretended like nothing was happening and as Kiran pulled him through the doorway the Oni thrust his large glaive through Beyn's chest, killing him instantly. Now the party stands at the door with this Oni staring them down from the open doorway...
