Session 28: House of Madness Report

General Summary

The party deliberated about investigating the city of Avang for the gold that was supposedly kept until they learned it was actually the city's funds and not necessarily property of the Sonuk.   They spoke with Baeryn and he asked them to let Ishiadar know that he was okay, and also to plead with Alog to send help; soliders to help protect the city from another attack and potentially masons to help rebuild the southern wall.   The party made their way back to the city of Riuken and headed to report all of this. Interrupting a meeting between Alog and another individual, Alog motioned them forward before dismissing the individual who he had been talking with. The party shared the news about Avang and also spoke with Ishiadar to let him know Baeryn was okay. Alog agreed to send as much help as he could spare to Avang and then asked the party to stay while he shared some new information.   Before that, Fruya came forward and shared information she had learned about the Zaron family, who's name had been mistranslated as Barze. She spoke of some information gleaned from the journal the party had recovered from the ruins. Cyril had been having dreams of this Pabtemoh entity, who led him to the discovery of an "ancient ritual that will secure my family and safeguard my people against the coming darkness."   Information was shared about the potential locations of two more gate stones, in the town of Brahms to the east in the province of Damara and Hawksroost to the southwest. The group agreed to make their way to Brahms, with Kadaj inviting himself along, and got a good night's rest before making their way toward the North gate and onward to Brahms...
