Session 8: Report

General Summary

Eventually the group discussed potentially sending a couple of scouts to the ruins to see if they could spot patrols, who was patrolling and how many there were. After the scouts report only seeing two patrols of 3 Gnolls on the East side of the ruins and no patrols on the West side, the group decided to sneak up to the East side and take out the patrols. Better to face the devil you know than the one you don’t.   The party decided to leave the soldiers and scouts behind and let them know to approach if they hear a full fledged fight break out. They then split up the party into groups of 3 (Melanthios, Lazer and Grygor) and 3 (Kiran, Shiro and Adara) to take out the patrols at the same time. Spotting that each patrol had a horn, they used the mind melding stones to communicate between each group and coordinate their attacks to take out the horn blowers before they could call for additional help.   During their opening attack, both groups took out the horn blowers instantly and then moved onto taking out the Pack Lords in each group. And without too much hassle, surprisingly!, they took out both patrols without too much trouble.
