Session 9: Aftermath

General Summary

Having lost Goliath to the cultists, the 2 remaining members of Bitchfest joined with Kha to go find any clues at the Island mausoleum. Having not found any, they decided that their next best course of action was to go and try and get the book translated, as it seemed to have something to do with the cult, and may give them clues as to where they would have taken their friend. They went to the docks, and after negotiating travel with a ship, set sail for the main continent. After bedding down for the night, they were awakened to sounds of thumping feet above them, and wildly shouted orders, opening their doors they saw the sailors grabbing weapons and running upstairs. They sprang into action and rushed upstairs to see a pirate ship having already come up beside them, and grappled the two ships together. They valiantly fought off the other ship, setting fire to it, and killing the boarding crew. They rescued the captain from when she was thrown overboard, and started the process of patching up the crew.   Hopefully they thought, this will mark us as worthy allies to the captain, and we may be able to get in on the action wherever this ship is sailing to before the mainland.
