Negotiations {session 4 princes of the apocolypse}

General Summary

The session started with hte party realizing they are bieng followed. they decided there was not much they could do about the situation. they returned to bridgewater and Corronak made a scene by asking over a tattoo artist. the trio returned after the afct to the camp and recieved stutus reports from the Goblins. alls quiet on the homefront. they spent some time speaking to eachother and devising a plan, Nubba took a liking to the liitle black kid and consistantly spent time talking to him. that along with Corronak and the general resolution of the affair made a poor impression on [Nega Mengesha Nahum ]. their general unprofessionalism and lack of internal consistancy let the young merchant aquire a great deal of information.   the ransom notice was sent Via letter throught the Guard grapevine by an Anonomous Wasobi. the Merchant lord [Mengesha Nahum Kirubel ] arrived with an enterouge of guards and then negotiations began. they ended just as quickly however when Wasobi asked for a mere one thousand gold in platinum coins. the man immediatly agreed to have the money by tomarrow and after his request for seeing his son was rebuffed he and his enterouge left. the perty returned and the next morning they were aboutt o get ready to leave to the ransom when a voice began emanating from the wagonside. it was quickly determined to be a magic mouth spell despite initial tentions of it being an invisible enemy. they engaged in conversation witht the man who refused to give any information and they did likewise. [TanJu ] offered them a chance to give up the farce they had going. Wasobi flatly refused and the mysterious man opened fire nearly downing Denshe in the first volly. he was quickly run down by carronak despite his best efforts to stop the raging minotaur and was tackled to the ground. he desperatly beganto fight off the minotaur when Denshe arrived and with a single strike nearly killed the man whoo was finished off by a headbutt and goring from the Minotaur.   they recovered and Mork went to go help out Dirk who during the battle had taken an arrow and dropped. Wasobi healed every one and they went out to make the exchange. upon meeting the man and his enterouge once more they brought outt he boy and the coind were produced. there was quite a bit of initial suspision about the legitimacy of the coins but after a few aawkwad moments and a poorly aimed knife throw by carronak the exchange was made and they parted ways.
